Contextual Mock ups

As my product would only really be sold in spray paint shops and online as my subject is quite a taboo subject I've mocked up how I would imagine it to look being sold online. It could be sold through retialers like;

What is good- A quick look at what I've done so far..

A few images to show where I'm up to with my work and how my project is starting to tie together now the different pieces of print I've produced are displayed together.

What Is Good - techniques used

So far I have used alot of techniques through building my final product and when it comes to producing my boards I'm going to need them categorized so that my work has some sort of continuous flow in relation to print processes and techniques.

Print Processes Used

Sticker Sheet- Litho Print, (glossy 120gsm)
Balaclava- Screen printed labels
Box Sleeve- Digtal print onto black card - clear spot varnish (foil)
Spray can Sleeves- Litho print (glossy 120gsm)
Book- Digital Print onto black card - Black spot varnish (foil)
Cap Pack- Litho print (glossy 120gsm)
Postcards - Litho print (glossy 120gsm)
Box Lining- Digital print onto 60gsm tracing paper

Other processes

Box- Laser cut top panel, riveted sliding draw,

My final book

Throughout the planning of my project I was determined on making 3 books but as the deadline is creeping nearer and nearer I feel I have over estimated how much I can produce, However I have decided so that i get my work in on time I will still produce one of my books and instead mock the other 2 up. Here are a few image of me working in illustrator figuring out the page plans and layout for my guide book.

Final Book

The housing for my cap box

The design of my cap box is going to be similar to that of my can sleeve, i want to use the same stock, 120 gsm glossy and have my caps sat visible through a clear window. My plans for my net are below.

Mock Ups
Below are a few images of my mock up boxes that didn't quite go to plan.

Final Package

Heres the final images of my cap box finalised and ready to go in my starter kit. I was really happy with the way the paper folded however with the nature of the paper some of the print scratched nearer the tricky edges to stick together.

The front covers of my books

I wanted to use the same stock and finish as my boxes sleeve when designing the front covers for my mini flip through guides. Instead of using the clear foil when trying to achieve a spot varnish effect I used some black foil instead, this made my front covers look much more appealing. Black print on black stock with black foil works really well, I can't get over how crisp its come out.

Using the Laminator

Cover your pieces of print using strips of the chosen foil you are using.

Place inside the heat protected sleeve.

Slide through the heated laminator one two or three times depending on how large the area of print you are working with is.

My finished front covers

I'm really happy with the outcome of my front covers.
