Communication is a Virus...Crit Feedback

Today we had a group crit with both Jo and Amber to present our idea in aim to tackle the brief. Our idea was to re-design and to re-package a series of short stories to encourage people to be more visual engaged through reading. However when discussing our idea with Jo and Amber we realized that our concept had been done so many times before. When we focused on reading we instantly thought of books when reading can actually be anything to do with type. We took a slight detour from our original idea and started to think about placing type out into different environments, forcing people to read as they were walking along. We all subliminally take in information every second of the day and we wanted to look down the route of putting messages up around the city that people would feel obliged to read.
