IMAGE // Type as Image

Today we received our next weekly brief working with the same articles we have to produce three A1 visually resolved quotes picked out from each article.

 I began by picking out different quotes from each article to start formulating ideas of what I could base each A1 outcome on;

Article One: Both are true, Invading, Infecting, Organisms,  Frontline defence against infections, more radiation, boost your immunity, attitudes of your clinic, repeat mammogram triples, rest of the country, solid statistical evidence.

Article Two: The little facor, From Earth to the moon, moral satisfaction, Humans are terrible, in their bones, To the Moon and Back. struggle to visualize, scope insensitivity scale of the problem, a warm glow, the fuzzy feeling, pervasive eccentricity, savings at a stroke, smug or self pitying,

Article Three: hundreds and hundreds, secretly seeing, specialist fan group, brass-rubbing, gluing your heads to a computer, your relationship will soon be over, emotional status, The normal view.

 The quotes I intend on using are;

INVADING, INFECTING, ORGANISMS:  I chose this quote because it is heavily related to the article it was chosen from, the three words are all complex and interesting terms and they all contain 8/9 letters so in my head I'm thinking they would work well together on a page. So far Im considering having the word 'Invading' invading the word 'infecting', and the word 'infecting' infecting the word "Organisms." For each piece I want to use a different sort of media so I can keep my ideas as broad as possible, for this outcome I want to work mainly digitally in just Photoshop and Illustrator.

TO THE MOON AND BACK: Instant Imagery came piling into my head after picking out this quote, my theme from last weeks brief was similar and something I would enjoy continuing. I want to keep some consistency across my 3 A1 pieces but at the same time I also want them to be very diverse, for this piece I'm going to work with the same typeface but create some sort of link between the word 'moon' and 'back' imitating the circular radius between us and the moon. Again working in a media that's different to the rest I want this piece to be produced using a bit of both words, scanned in papers, sewn letters and some vector shapes.

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WILL SOON BE OVER:
The weirdest quote so far, but I want to portray this one from a corrupt ex-boyfriends approach, almost like a letter sent to his victim stating 'your relationship will soon be over.' I'm thinking, a quite grimey and eroded response, almost purely hand made. I want to stick with the same typeface but maybe include bits of old photos, cut out magazine strips, kind of like a ransom letter but with a little less as serious. A good reference would be post secret.
